The ASICS Women's Metaride is designed to make running long distances seem effortless. A completely new shoe it combines increased cushioning to reduce muscle fatigue, with a dramatically curved sole to increase running efficiency.

The ASICS Women's Metaride uses FLYTEFOAM Propel combined with Gel technology in a deep midsole, to provide increased cushioning with a responsive energy return feel. A layer of FLYTEFOAM LYTE in the layer beneath the foot decreases weight and improves comfort. The large rocker with a stiff forefoot increases running efficiency by lowering the change in angle at the ankle joint. By making the ankle need to flex less a reduction of energy loss of 20% in the ankle joint is achieved. A 3D Guidance line shifts the centre off mass of the foot to help with your natural leg swing, while a new GripSole reduces weight and increases both traction and durability by bonding soft plastic lugs to a flexible mesh sheet. Comfort is taken very seriously in the upper, with a reinforced and padded heel and tongue, and a premium knitted upper that provides an extremely breathable fit and feel. The metaclutch system is an exclusive heel counter that improves heel fit and wraps the entire heel to avoid friction and secure your feet.
